Our History & Mandate
"We are not against the flag of Sudd Republic; we are against the bad leadership. Surely, one day the new dawn shall come."
Initially formed on 24/04/2021 as a civil political organization out of necessity for genuine reform and national salvation. PFM originally sought to peacefully challenge the status quo and demand immediate accountability from those hoarding power in Juba.
However, as the movement rapidly gained immense grassroots popularity, we were unlawfully blocked from formally registering as a political party. This suppression was directly influenced by the ruling SPLM regime, who refused to tolerate or endure legitimate opposition. Facing increasing hostility, the resort to armed struggle in early 2024 became the only viable option to protect the dream of freedom for Suddian citizens.
The New Architecture
Our core mandate has evolved into a total restructuring of the state. The movement's primary objective is to decisively dismantle the current corrupt, centralized government framework. In its place, we pledge to introduce a robust, 22-province system of governance that guarantees true federalism, devolves power back to the grassroots, and halts the blatant theft of national wealth.
From mobile bases to metropolitan operations, and from the diaspora to our armed wings, PFM is fully committed to a future where freedom of expression, rapid development, and indisputable democratic peace are a permanent reality.
